'Raising Safe Kids in an Unsafe World'
Family Resources Northwest will present a child safety workshop for parents, "Raising Safe Kids in an Unsafe World," at Northshore YMCA Wednesday, May 15.
"Raising Safe Kids in an Unsafe World," teaches parents the skills to empower their children to recognize danger and respond in a split second.
Knowledge empowers children and can make a difference in their lives. Learn 30 ways to prevent your child from becoming victimized, abducted or molested.
Parents will learn to teach their children to beware of tricky people, take three steps back and run like the wind, not keep bad secrets, to be safe on the Internet, and more.
Pre-registration is required at (425) 485-9797. A limited amount of childcare will be provided.
Raising Safe Kids in an Unsafe World is a STARS (State Training And Registry System) approved program providing childcare professionals with two hours of ongoing training.
