Pet Vet making housecalls

Seattle Pet Vet is now open for business.
Dr. Hanna Ekstrom, a 1992 graduate of Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine, and Laura Perkins, LVT are ready and able to treat dogs, cats, birds, and pocket pets,in the comfort of your own home. Working as a team, they are able to provide a complete range of services, from prophylactic medical care such as well-pet exams and vaccines, to blood tests, simple surgeries or biopsies and compassionate at-home euthanasia.
"Our goal in opening this practice was to provide high quality, medical care in the home environment," said Dr. Ekstrom. "Being at home provides an atmosphere which is less stressful for the pet, and allows for more relaxed and individualized attention. The parents of young children may in particular appreciate this service.
"Being the mother of three, I have great sympathy for people trying to hang on to both their toddlers and pets while in the exam room. Home visits are also ideal for pets with clinic anxiety, and/or for owners who are simply too busy to make it to the veterinary clinic during working hours."
Seattle Pet Vet will be accepting patients from Mill Creek, south to Bellevue, west to Lake Forest Park and east to Redmond.
