Cedarcrest track and field girls honored

WIAA/Dairy farmers of Washington have announced Cedarcrest as the 2001-02 academic state champions in girls' track and field. The program recognizes teams/groups in Washington high schools with grade point averages above 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale). The state award recognizes the team with the highest grade point average among all Washington high schools in their enrollment classification. In recognition of the state academic award, Cedarcrest will be honored at the WIAA/Dairy Farmers of Washington track and field state tournament and will receive a special plaque for the school trophy case. The Cedarcrest GPA average was 3.823. This is the third consecutive year Cedarcrest has won this award for girls' track and field.
