Summer Academy starts July 8

The Northshore School District will offer Summer Academy classes from July 8 through August 2 at three locations.
   Students who have completed kindergarten through grade 12 are eligible for the classes which will be held at Canyon Creek Elementary for elementary and kindergarten through grade 5; Skyview Junior High for middle school, grades 6-8: and Woodinville High School for junior and senior high school students in grades 7-12. Student placement for those in grades 7 and 8 depends on the individual's needs.
   Tuition is $295 for the elementary and middle school sessions and $235 for each .34 credit class and $335 for each .51 credit class for the junior and senior high sessions.
   The elementary and middle school sessions are held from 9 a.m. - noon and junior and senior high sessions will run from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
   Mail-in applications are currently being accepted and are available at all district schools or on-line at Northshore's web site, www.nsd.org, under "Northshore Quicklinks."
   In-person registration will be held in Room 23 of the Ricketts Administrative Center on June 20 from 11:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. and on June 21 and 22 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day.
   Northshore is also offering an Elementary Computer Camp at Arrowhead Elementary from June 24 - July 3 for students who have completed the third through sixth grades.
   Space remains only in the afternoon session which runs from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. The cost is $165 per student.
   Registration for the Computer Camp is by mail only. Applications are available at all district schools or by visiting www.nsd.org and downloading a Summer Academy registration form.
