Summer camps
   Register now for Children's Services of Sno-Valley's summer camps. Camps for 4-6 and 7-10-year-olds will run M-F, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during the weeks of July 15, July 29, August 5, August 12 and August 19. With themes such as merchant in a marketplace, African safari and riding the railroad, there's something for everyone. Call (425) 788-7924 to register or for more information.
   Braithburn Academy summer camp registration
   Braithburn Academy in Duvall has begun summer camp registration. Braithburn offers quality camp programs for preschool and school-age children.    Hannah to speak at baccalaureate
   Adrian Hannah will be the speaker at Cedarcrest High School Baccalaureate, Saturday, June 15, 6 p.m., in the Cedarcrest High School performing arts center in Duvall. The theme will be "Building on Your Foundation." Adrian was formerly assistant principal at Tolt Middle School and a teacher at Cherry Valley Elementary. He is currently principal at Richard B. Wilson K through 8 school in Tuscon, Arizona. The community is invited to attend.
   Eastside Literacy will study English with movies
   Eastside Literacy, a program of Hopelink, is offering a special opportunity to learn English through watching American movies this summer. It will be held in the Woodinville Library on Monday nights starting June 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. ESL will study English through watching American films, and then discuss the setting, plot and characters.    Pumps & Grinds After Hours
   Friday, June 14, "L'Italia at Sole" art opening. Local artist Shannon Belcher uses her professional photographic skills to illustrate the wonders of Italy, including parts of Venice and the region of Cinque Terre. Saturday, June 15, singer/songwriter Brooke Pennock will be performing along with percussionist Dave Walker. All shows start at 7:30 p.m. and there is a suggested donation of $5.    Learn to paint. Two beginning watercolor painting classes will be held in June. Session number one will be on Friday, June 14, 11a.m. to 1 p.m. on flowers. Session number two is June 28 on birds. Each session is $11 for members and $15 for non-members. For registration, call 333-4152.
   Free help for caregivers. A free program, called Powerful Tools for Caregivers, offers skills to help. The program will be held on Thursdays for six weeks, starting June 6, from 1-3:30 p.m. Call Tammy Clark at (425) 333-4152.
   Historical slide presentation
   The Duvall Historical Society invites the public to a free slide presentation by architectural historian and preservationist Stuart Bolger on the Genesee Country Village, New York state's largest living history museum, on Wednesday, June 19, 4 p.m. in the Duvall Library Rose Room. Donations at the door will further ongoing restoration efforts at the Dougherty House.
   New computer classes. Mondays is "introduction to computers." Fridays is "introduction to surfing the web." Both classes are 11 a.m. to noon and cost $25 for members and $35 for non-members. For more information, call Kate Miller at 333-4152.
   Don't like to drive? Volunteer transport is available for seniors who need to visit their doctor. Clients needed. Drivers can take seniors to appointments as far away as Seattle. Call 1-800-282-5815 to register or for more information.
   Neck and back massage on the third Wednesday of the month by appt, between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Sessions last 15 minutes and cost $15. Free demo on March 13, 12:30 p.m.
   Computer lab. Lab open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and free for any Senior Center member to use. Memberships are $10 for individual and $15 for a family.

   Braithburn Academy begins fall preschool enrollment
   Braithburn Academy in Duvall begins fall preschool enrollment Feb. 1. Braithburn offers developmentally appropriate lesson plans, hands-on learning, a lead teacher with 11 years experience, use of positive guidance, teaching of self-help and social skills, parent teacher conferences and unlimited opportunities for discovery and fun. Enrollment is open to children who are 2 1/2 to 4 years old by Sept. 1. Optional childcare is offered before or after preschool. Space is limited.    Monthly meditations at Two Rivers Yoga

   Primalux Yoga now in Duvall
   Primalux Yoga has opened a new studio on Duvall in the Duvall Plaza Building at 15705 Main St. Instructors Cathy and Christopher Iacobazzi have over 30 years experience combined in this ancient art and science.    A special time together
   Children's Services of Sno-Valley's Evening Toddler Playgroup provides working parents a great opportunity for quality time with their toddler. Classes meet from 6:30-8 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Tuition is $20/month, plus a non-refundable registration fee of $10. Call (425) 788-7924 to request a registration packet.
   Children's indoor playground
   Tired of being stuck inside? Bring your 0 to 5-year-old to Children's Services of Sno-Valley's indoor playground, open Wednesdays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The playground provides a convenient drop-in activity for families of young children.    Senior center has event hall
   The Sno-Valley Senior Center's main hall is available for parties or other holiday
   events. The main hall has a capacity of up to 260 and there are two additional rooms that can be rented. The facility boasts a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Rental fees are reasonable and all fees go to benefit the programs and services offered by the center to local seniors. Call Kate at (425) 333-4152.
   Knitter's Guild in Carnation
   Are you a knitter and would like to join others who share a love of the craft? Or, have you always wanted to learn to knit, but didn't know who to contact? A group of knitters from the Snoqualmie Valley meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 31911 E.    Classes and support groups
   Children's Services of Sno-Valley, Duvall, is offering the following classes and support groups:
   Parents support group: An opportunity to share information, support and personal experiences, as well as learn about services available to your family. Single parents are encouraged to attend. Free ongoing sessions are scheduled for the first and third Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
   Grandparents support group: Informal support group for grandparents raising grandchildren. Free ongoing sessions are scheduled for the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

   Volunteers needed for Meals on Wheels
   Meals on Wheels delivery volunteers are a life link to the outside world for the recipients who frequently are unable to leave their homes. Volunteers deliver frozen pre-packed meals, bright smiles and friendly greetings. Volunteers are needed at the Sno-Valley Senior Center in Carnation to sort and deliver orders on Thursday afternoons for one to two hours. A car, valid driver's license and auto insurance are mandatory. Training and assistance are provided. Call Kate Miller at (425) 333-4152.
   Cherry Valley Riders meets monthly
   Cherry Valley Riders, a family-oriented horseback riding club, meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room of the Duvall Fire Station. Call (425) 788-9246.
