Steve Rother horsemanship clinic to be held in Duvall

A Steve Rother Foundation and Horsemanship clinic will be held on July 5, 6 and 7 at Big Rock Farms in Duvall.
   Native Oregonian Steve Rother is one of the newest and brightest horsemanship clinicians in the U.S. today. He is a talented and motivated horse teacher who uses natural techniques to develop willing partnerships between horse and human.
   During the last four years, Steve has gentled many mustangs for adoption through the BLM and will have a mustang with him for a demonstration.
   On Friday, July 5, there will be a live demonstration at 7 p.m. for a $15 admission fee. The first person to the demo is free and there will be a free surprise drawing.
   The Foundation Classes will be held Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $140 per person/horse. The Horsemanship Classes will be held Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. for the same cost. Spectators are $15 per day.
   Directions: Head south out of Duvall on Hwy 203. Turn left (east) onto Big Rock Road. Turn left on 297th Place NE. Follow gravel road until you come to the arena.
