King County Parks announces summer camps

Kids ages 6 to 13 can fill their summer with a variety of activities by signing up for a camp offered by King County Parks.Week-long camps are scheduled Monday, July 1 through Friday, Aug. 16 at Cottage Lake Park in Woodinville.
   Registration is now being accepted. Camps run Monday through Friday (except the week beginning July 1) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost ranges from $130 to $135 per child per week and some scholarships covering the fee are available.
   Registration is required no later than 3 p.m. on the Friday before the respective day camp begins. King County Blockbuster Specialty Camps at Cottage Lake Park include: Onceupona, July 15-19; Wet & Wild, July 22-26; Naturalist, July 29-Aug. 2; You Me Yumi, Aug. 12-16.
   Free pre-camp and after-camp supervision is also offered in conjunction with the day camps.
   Pre-camp supervision runs between 7 and 9 a.m., while after-camp supervision occurs between 4 and 6 p.m.
