2002 Sandblast Summer Arts Festival set for July 20-21

The 2002 Sandblast Summer Arts Festival will be held on July 20 & 21 on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in Duvall's McCormick Park. A community sand sculpture will be created on the sandbar under the supervision of US Champion and world renowned Sand Sculpture Artist Kali Bradford.
This year's theme will be "Blast from the Past," a tribute to the railroads that provided service to the Snoqualmie Valley in years gone by.
The stage will be busy with music and other entertainment from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Entertainment for this year will include Valley phenoms Roundabout, as well as Baby Gramps, Reggie Miles and the Cornucopia Concert Band. Local artists will be displaying and selling their art and crafts.
The Sandblast Festival is a project of Duvall Foundation for the Arts, City of Duvall and the King County Arts Commission.
Additional support is provided by many local individuals and businesses.
