Wild women sometimes get the blues

The Seattle Women belt out the blues in Duvall's McCormick Park as part of the Belmark Arts Onstage in the Park summer concert series On July 31 at 6:30 p.m. Life, love and the pursuit of a good man is what it's all about for these ladies. Each woman is featured as a soloist with back-up vocals by the others. Their spontaneity and raw emotive energy testify to the power of live music. Concert co-sponsors Jasper's BBQ Smokehouse and Hale's Ales will host a post-concert reception at Jasper's on Main Street in Duvall immediately following the performance.
For more information about this concert and for directions to McCormick Park, visit www.cityofduvall.com/dac.
For those with mobility impairments that make accessing the park difficult, the City of Duvall is providing a free shuttle service leaving from City Hall on Main Street every 15 minutes beginning at 6 p.m.
Due to the temporary closure of the Woodinville-Duvall bridge, be sure to allow time for a detour across the Novelty bridge or High Bridge Rd. if you are coming to Duvall from the west or north.
