Parade of Ponds highlights area watergardens July 27-28

*The third annual Parade of Ponds, the largest tour of its kind in the Northwest, will be held July 27-28. Forty-six Puget Sound-area watergardens will be on display.
  

Redhook Ale Brewery Moonlight Cinema

*The summer Moonlight Cinema series on the lawn at Redhook's Woodinville brewery begins with "Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery" (PG-13), on Thursday, July 25, at 9 or 9:30 (depending on dusk).

Birth Anouncement: Hailey Rose Brown

*Hailey Rose Brown, 8 lbs. 6 oz., was born July 14 at Overlake Hospital. Parents are Amy Swainson Brown and Michael Brown of Bothell.

Ramblin' Rec for kids

*Children in grades K-6 are invited to enjoy arts, crafts and games at Ramblin' Rec, a drop-in program for neighborhood youth sponsored by Bothell Parks and Recreation.
  

Meetings to focus on pipeline system for Brightwater

*Five public meetings in July, August and September will focus on building a system for moving wastewater to and from a proposed treatment plant serving south Snohomish County and North King County.

Barbara and Donald Steeb celebrate 50 years of marriage

*Donald and Barbara Steeb celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 30.
   The couple was married in 1952 in Pittsburgh, Penn. and now lives in Duvall.
