C-Fair horse show coming to Evergreen Equestrian Park

The C-Fair Charity Horse Show will take place Aug 1-4 at the Evergreen Equestrian Park in Monroe. The 18th annual event benefits Children's Hospital and Medical Center. Show officials donated nearly $10,000 last year, which went to benefit the hospital's uncompensated care program. Classes in harness driving, English and Western riding, walk-trot, plus many other breeds. Sponsored by The Morgan Horse Club of Washington State, the show attracts competitors from as far away as Alaska, Montana, California, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Canada and all parts of Washington. Entrants will compete for ribbons, trophies, and prize money in many classes. Classes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are divided into three sessions starting at 9 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. Sunday's classes will be in two sessions at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Admission and parking are free to the public. A donation jar is available for spectators to be able to contribute money to Children's Hospital also. Evergreen Equestrian Park is located within the fairgrounds in Monroe.
