Dorothy and Ted Johns celebrate 50 years

Dorothy and Ted Johns were married Aug. 1, 1952. They will celebrate their 50th anniversary at a family-hosted party Sept. 8 at the Holly Hills Mobile Park Club House from 2-6 p.m.
   The couple has three sons: Dennis (Linda), David (Verlynn), and Dwight (Jeanette); and six granddaughters: Mary, Margaret, Kristin, Julia, Malynn and Nicole, all of whom live in the Woodinville area.
   Ted and son, David, own and operate For-D Inc. and For-D Imports in Woodinville. Dorothy is a retired officer of Bank of America.
   Dorothy and Ted were married at the original Methodist Church in Woodinville where the two met. Performing the ceremony was Rev. Bob Shartz.
   In April the Johns visited the now-retired Rev. Bob and his wife, Paula, in California.
