Lois Rogers Rapp
Sept. 14, 1912 - July 21, 2002
Born in Emerson, New Jersey, Lois and her husband Grant traveled the world with their daughters and lived for eight years in Saudi Arabia.
She was a devoted baseball fan, rarely missing a radio broadcast of the Mariners' games.
All the neighborhood children called her grandma, and she was ever ready with pb&j sandwiches, a glass of milk and a cookie.
Lois was a Pythian sister, and active in her church, teaching the children in the Logos program and singing in the choir until she was 84.
She will be remembered as a gentle and loving soul by her brother, Irving Rogers of Plant City, Florida, and by her daughters, Valerie Smith and her husband Larry, Bellevue, and Judith Eide and her husband Jerry, of Woodinville, as well as her eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for friends and family was held at Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church in Woodinville, Washington on Aug. 3.
Remembrances can be made in her name to the Logos Program of Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church.
