Writers' retreat at South 47 Farm

A Writers' Retreat, "A Harvest of Words," will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The South 47 Farm in Redmond.
   The day will include creative writing exercises, mini-workshops on "Getting Published" and "The Writing Life," an "Ask The Experts" question-and-answer session, and quiet time on the farm to write or simply walk around and get inspired. Beginning writers welcome.
   Instructors are Christine Dubois, a widely published columnist, magazine writer, and writing teacher, and Leslie Adkins, a fiction writer and teacher.
   The South 47 Farm is at the corner of NE 124th St. and the Woodinville-Redmond Road.
   Cost is $45. Advance registration is required.
