Nominations needed for Literary Lions Awards

Do you know someone who has opened up a world of opportunities for others by encouraging them to open a book and become a lifelong reader? Do you work for a company that makes a difference by making a commitment to literacy?
The King County Library System Foundation seeks to recognize the people and organizations in the Pacific Northwest that have made a significant contribution to promoting the importance and value of literacy.
The KCLS Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2003 Literary Lions Award.
The award, to be given at the gala Literary Lions dinner in March of 2003 at the Bellevue Regional Library, recognizes an individual, company or organization that has done exemplary work in supporting literacy and lifelong learning.
Contact the Foundation for a nomination form. Nomination forms are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2002.
