UBCC to sponsor Joint Area Council Forum
The Upper Bear Creek Community Council (UBCC) meets the second and fourth Tuesday of most months. The purpose of the council is to inform, assist and represent our community in dealing with King County government and other entities with respect to issues that affect our community.
King County Executive Ron Sims hosts a Joint UAC Forum annually and the UBCC is the sponsor for this year's UAC Forum. Ron Sims and other King County department staff will be present to listen and respond to concerns/issues faced by the six recognized unincorporated area councils as well as residents in unincorporated areas. Budget Director Steve Call will provide an update on the 2003 King County Budget. Harry Reinert, Department of Development and Environmental Services, will discuss Draft Code Enforcement legislation.
The Executive Annual Joint Unincorporated Area Council Forum will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at the Woodinville Library, 17105 Avondale Rd., Woodinville. All interested persons of the community are welcome to attend.
