A Harvest Celebration at Country Village

Come celebrate the fall season Oct. 11-13 at Country Village in Bothell. Featured during the event will be corn stalks, scarecrows and pumpkins.
   Paint a pumpkin and enter the 20th annual Pumpkin Painting Contest. Pumpkins and paint are provided at $3 per person, and all entries win a prize.
   There will also be a Scarecrow Contest. The person who builds the best scarecrow wins a $100 gift certificate valid at any Country Village shop or restaurant.
   The contest began Sept. 15, and the winner will be chosen Oct. 31.
   The festivities will also include craft booths, pony rides, the original Kettle Korn, "PlayDays" at Toys That Teach  and wine tasting at Spice of Life.
   New this year will be performances on Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m. by Valentine's Performing Pigs.
