Bothell 23, Lake Stevens, 0

In nonleague play last Friday night, Bothell (4-0) depended on its defense to hold Lake Stevens (2-2) scoreless.
   Lake Stevens managed only 116 total yards in a powerful display of defense by the Cougars. BHS also forced two turnovers.
   In addition to the superb defensive play by Bothell, the offense was able to gain 253 yards.
   Rocky Jorgensen accounted for 135 yards, making 11 for 19 attempts, one touchdown and one interception. Sean Gallacher ran for 57 yards and one touchdown. Bart Ward and Cory Higbee also scored touchdowns and Higbee scored a 34-yard field goal.
