Volunteers, donors and businesses made Releaf a success

Woodinville's Sammamish ReLeaf 2002 habitat restoration project (Saturday, October 5th) was a wonderful event.
Planting over 1,275 native trees and shrubs on the Sammamish River Trail just outside Woodin Creek Park, 158 volunteers—ranging in age from 2 years to those with very gray hair—completed their efforts in just under 3 hours!
Many thanks to the scout groups and individuals, donors and sponsors who worked together to bring positive change to our city.
On behalf of trail users and wildlife: thanks.
