Compiled by John Price from Woodinville police reports
Oct. 30: Business owners in the 19600 block of 144th Avenue Northeast came to work and noticed bits of aluminum missing.
A video surveillance tape showed two suspects. One was in the yard handing scrap aluminum to the other over the fence. Police lifted several sets of prints.
Oct. 27: Owner of a business in the 13200 block of Northeast 177th Place arrived at work to see two of their 20 trucks missing. Police investigated and learned that 30 employees have keys to the fenced yard. However, the keys are kept in the office and only six employees have office keys.
The case is under further investigation.
Oct. 25: Two women shopping in the 13900 block of Northeast 178th walked around the store placing several items into their cart. However, they were also placing several items underneath their baby stroller.
Loss prevention officers watched as the women took tags off several clothing items and then placed them under the stroller. As the women went through the check-out line, the clerk asked them about the items under the stroller and they told the clerk that those items had already been purchased. They paid $40 for the items in their cart and exited the building. Security stopped them and police arrived and arrested the women on theft charges.
