DUVALL-City and county officials celebrated the completion of two major road projects in Duvall last week by cutting ceremonial ribbons at both sites.
On the northern end of 3rd Ave., two five-foot sidewalks and a drainage swale were added to the sides of the road, which was also resurfaced. The street is a collector arterial with direct access to the elementary school.
Eastside Sand and Gravel did the $300,000 construction project, which was paid for by funding from the city of Duvall and a King County community block grant. The street was closed for four weeks and opened just in time for school.
