Campbell honored for service to CCC

   Dianne Campbell was honored for her dedication to the building of Cascadia Community College.
   BOTHELL - A community reception held last Wednesday honored Dianne Campbell for her years of dedication and commitment to building Cascadia Community College. After eight years of service, Campbell is stepping down as chair of the Board of Trustees for the college. She will continue to serve on the board through the end of her term in 2004.
   "It has truly been an honor to be a part of this incredible journey creating Cascadia Community College," Campbell said. "Serving as chair has been a labor of love for education and this community."
   A resolution was passed at the board meeting recognizing her years of vision, dedication and leadership that were instrumental in building of the college. As Chair of the Board of Trustees, Campbell has been an advocate of diversity, multiculturalism, community partnerships and student success.
   Campbell served as a member of the community advisory board that helped create Cascadia Community College and was appointed as a trustee by the governor in 1994.
