Services set for firefighter

Woodinville Fire and Life Safety District (WFLSD) mourns the loss of Firefighter Mark Zabel on Nov. 5. WFLSD flags are at half-mast in honor of his dedicated service. WFLSD and Local 2950 members are working with the Zabel family for the upcoming memorial service.
   The public is welcome to celebrate Mark's life at Northshore Baptist Church, Bothell. (directions available at: www.nsb.org) at 2 p.m., Nov. 14. A reception will immediately follow at the church.
   Firefighter Zabel was a devoted father of four children. The Woodinville Firefighters Association, Local 2950, has established the Mark Zabel Benefit Fund for the Zabel family. Contributions can be made out to the I.A.F.F. Local 2950 at P.O. Box 652 Woodinville, WA 98072
   FF Zabel has more than 22 years of excellent service with Woodinville Fire beginning his career age 19.
   He was stationed at the Cottage Lake Fire Station, where he was amember of the Medic 35 unit. His reassuring presence and trouble-shooting abilities have helped many citizens as well as his fire service family.
