Bothell advances to 4A quarterfinals

BOTHELL - They did not score first, but they scored in every quarter displaying their strengths on both sides of the ball in a Class 4A preliminary round last Tuesday at Pop Keeney.After a slow start, the Cougars score cut down on their mistakes and used a strong running and passing attack to defeat the Federal Way Eagles 37-6.
   Senior running back Sean Gallacher scored the first of his two touchdown runs - a 28 yarder to put Bothell in the lead 7 to 6. He led the Cougars with 95 rushing yards for the night.
   Senior quarterback Ricky Sorenson led the Cougar offense scoring a 27-yard third quarter T.D. pass to Travis McKee his big target.McKee, a 6-foot, 5-inch junior had seven receptions for 96 yards.
   The Cougar defense was solid forcing four Eagle turnovers. Mike Lisenby, asenior tackle got the Bothell safety and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
