Over 80 eager drillers ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade and 30 fabulous Cedarcrest High School Drill Team members strike again for the second year in a row!
Following a five-hour clinic on Oct. 12 and a short field practice on Oct. 18, these young performers showcased their talents through a performance routine later that evening as part of the half- time entertainment during the Red Wolves' home game against the Skyline Spartans.
The grandstand was already overflowing with fans fired up for the home team at the start of the game, which was preceded by the official dedication of the new CHS athletic facilities.
This occasion was destined to be unforgettable as the crowd's roaring response to the performance lit up the faces of the drillers and their families. What a spectacular success!
Team members say they wish to express their appreciation for the community support of the increasingly popular program.
