Math ability + teamwork = success for Woodmoor students

How do four sixth grade students from Cathy Draper’s Advanced Program at Woodmoor share one trophy? Easy — they employ the rotation system. “We rotate the trophy,” said sixth grader Eve Beausoleil. “We each take it home for a week to admire and then we take it to school to put in our trophy case.” Eve’s math team took second place at the Washington State Math Championship held in Blaine, March 27.
