‘Woodinville, Women and Wine’ celebrates friendship

The room overflowed with women. They sat in groups of six to eight around tables covered with half-filled wine glasses and remnants of fruit, cheese and chocolate-covered strawberries. Purses were slung over the backs of chairs and the hum of conversation filled the estrogen-charged room.

The women had gathered at Willows Lodge for the first inaugural “Woodinville, Women & Wine” event held Wednesday evening, Sept. 29.
