Trevor A. Washam

Trevor A. Washam

Trevor A. Washam, of Carnation, died at the Mt Si Transitional Health Care Center in North Bend on Friday, June 10, 2005. He was 59 years of age.

Mr. Washam was born on October 25, 1945 in Los Angeles, California, to parents Edleen and Warner Brother’s cartoonist Ben Washam. He enjoyed the simple things in life, meat and potatoes, shooting the breeze, his old friends, old truck and old dog sitting shotgun.

He had a deep love for all animals, especially horses which he shod for 36 years. The family remembers him as a gentle soul who wore plain clothes and used colorful language.

Mr. Washam was born with country charm that wasn’t compromised in the heart of the city or in the presence of high society. He was the salt of the earth from top to toe.

Survivors include two sons, Benjamin Washam and T.J. Washam, of Snoqualmie; his daughter Grace Washam, also of Snoqualmie; and his mother Edleen Washam, of North Bend.

A memorial mass was held June 17 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Carnation.

Friends are invited to share memories and sign the family’s on-line guest book at

Arrangements are by Flintofts Issaquah Funeral Home.
