The Northwest Parks Foundation recently announced that they have designed a creative way to raise money for the Woodinville Fields & Carol Edwards Loop capital campaign while helping to recognize the hard work and dedication of deserving volunteer coaches for youth baseball, softball and soccer.
According to Suzette Hart, Campaign Director, youth sports teams who are looking for a special coach’s gift can purchase a place for their coach’s name on the Coach’s Honor Roll, a plaque that will be installed at the new Woodinville Field’s & Carol Edwards Loop. Hart added that while the project is slated for completion in 2009, now is the time to secure a place on the Honor Roll.
In addition to having the coach’s name placed on the Honor Roll plaque, teams will receive a Coach’s Certificate that can be presented to their coach at the end of season celebration. Cost of the Coach’s Gift is $100. Hart added that because Northwest Parks Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
