Cedarcrest High School award winners were recognized June 5.

On Thursday, June 5th, the seats in the commons area of Cedarcrest High School were filled and there was truly “standing room only” as proud parents, anxious students and a dedicated staff waited for the ceremony to begin.

The award-winning CHS band and choir entertained the guests with a medley of musical arrangements, while music director Ryan Lewis shared his infectious musical vigor with all in attendance.

CHS counselor Bernie Lenoue began the ceremony with introductions. The following is an impressive list of the scholarships given during this awards ceremony. Also of interest to note is that the total scholarships for Cedarcrest High School seniors exceeded $1.6 million.
