Bothell PD | Police Blotter 3.17.23

WEAPONS / 23-3728 – 20800 Block SR 527 – On 2/29/23, at 12:02 a.m., officers contacted a suspicious vehicle that was occupied by 3 subjects.

One of the subjects was a protected person in a no contact order, and officers suspected one of the other subjects could have been the respondent.

Officers conducted an area check for the respondent subject and located them inside a business. The subject was identified and was not the subject involved in the no contact order, however they did have an outstanding felony DOC warrant.

Officers tried to arrest the subject on their warrant but they began to run. Officers struggled on the ground with the subject and eventually got the subject into custody.

The subject had a large fixed blade knife and a pistol magazine on the person. A pistol was located on the ground where the subject had been taken into custody.

The subject was booked into jail on the warrant and charges.

TA / 23-3338 – 11500 Block E. Riverside Dr – On 3/1/23, at 12:33 a.m., a driver was exceeding the posted speed limit and crossed the centerline of the roadway, colliding into another motorist.

Both drivers were transported to Evergreen Hospital, both vehicles were impounded to the department pending search warrants, and the Traffic Unit will be conducting the investigation.

BURGLARY / 23-4024 – 10200 Block SR 522 – On 3/4/23, at 9:17 p.m., officers responded to a commercial burglary, where a suspect was burglarizing a business building.

Officers arrived and contacted a suspect in the building. The suspect was placed under arrest without incident. The suspect had previously been arrested for burglarizing the same building.

The suspect was booked into jail.
