Northwest Kidney Centers, a regional provider of life-sustaining kidney dialysis, is now offering treatment for the first time in Snohomish County.
The new clinic is located in the Everett Mall Office Park, 1010 SE Everett Mall Way, Suite 104, in south Everett. The dialysis clinic will serve approximately 60 new patients, according to a news release from Northwest Kidney Centers. In addition to providing dialysis treatments on site, staff members offer comprehensive training for home dialysis and education for all community members with any stage of kidney disease.
“We are grateful and excited to open this innovative and essential clinic to serve the community members of Everett and Snohomish County,” Rebecca Fox, president and CEO of Northwest Kidney Centers, said in the release. “With this new facility and our outstanding providers, we know we will offer the highest quality services for our patients and their loved ones. We look forward to being a strong partner in the medical community.”
Dr. Brendan Shannon is medical director for Northwest Kidney Centers Everett; Heather Johnson, RN, is clinical director; and Kristina Eddy, RN, is nurse manager.
Northwest Kidney Centers operates 20 dialysis clinics in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Clallam counties. In an industry dominated by giant corporations, the news release states, Northwest Kidney Centers is among the nation’s largest nonprofit dialysis providers.
