CW Grad Marshal - July 2021

Woodinville Mayor Gary Harris and the 2021 Celebrate Woodinville Grand Marshal Aaron Keith.

The Woodinville Chamber has announced the 2021 Celebrate Woodinville Grand Marshal. The person who holds this title typically has the honor of leading the Celebrate Woodinville Community Parade, but this year will be a little different.

"While the constraints of 2021 do not allow for a parade, we still would like to bestow the honor of grand marshal on a deserving individual in our community," said Kimberly Ellertson, Woodinville Chamber executive director.

This year's grand marshal is Dr. Aaron Keith, a longtime business owner of Woodinville Pain Relief Clinic. Keith is also representing Team USA and his hometown of Woodinville in the Tokyo Paralympics.

"It is with great joy that we help Dr. Keith  to celebrate this milestone by naming him our 2021 Celebrate Woodinville Grand Marshall," Ellertson said.

Since joining the U.S. Paralympic Cycling National Team in 2013, Keith has become a veteran at the World Championship games, earning two gold, a silver and two bronze medals. The 2021 Paralympics in Tokyo will be his first Paralympic Games.
