DUVALL, Wash. — A portion of State Route 203 was blocked in Duvall following a collision that left one person dead and two others injured on Monday, March 28. 

Around 7:30 p.m., a Toyota Corolla crossed the center line of SR 203 at 288th Street and then hit a landscaping truck head-on, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson.

Eastside Fire & Rescue crews from Woodinville assisted Duvall Fire with rescue efforts.

The driver of the Corolla was pronounced dead at the scene and the vehicle’s passenger was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.

The driver of the landscaping truck was also transported to a hospital. 

Traffic was rerouted to Snoqualmie Valley Road while troopers investigated the collision.
