FAKE IRS – 13000 NE 200 PL, Woodinville: On Sept. 2, around 9:16 p.m., a victim willingly provided $10,000 in Target gift cards to a person on the phone claiming to be the IRS. Suspect is unknown and the phone number used appeared fake/no longer in service.
STEALING BOOZE – 17600 GARDEN WAY NE, Woodinville: On Sept. 1, around 7:15 p.m., a shoplifter was detailed by loss prevention and admitted to stealing two bottles of alcohol. They were charges and trespassed from the property.
PALLET THEFT – 19000 144 AVE NE, Woodinville: On Sept. 1, at about 3:11 a.m., a suspect drove a vehicle without license plates into a business parking lot. The driver took pallets from local businesses and was contacted by a deputy. A business owner later decided not to assist with prosecuting against the pallet theft. The suspect was cited for driving with a suspended license.
STOLEN TRAILER – 20000 142 AVE NE, Woodinville: On Aug. 31, around 4:41 p.m., deputies responded to a report of the theft of a trailer from a storage facility. No suspects or leads at this time.
THEFT FROM AUTO – 14000 NE 181 ST, Woodinville: On Aug. 30, at about 6:50 a.m., a victim reported someone broke into his work truck and stole an item out of it. No suspects or leads at this time.
STOLEN CAR – 12600 NE 157 ST, Woodinville: On Aug. 28, around 10:34 a.m., a victim reported his vehicle was stolen while it was parked near his residence. His vehicle had several high valued work tools that were stolen as well. No suspects or leads at this time.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 13300 NW 171 ST, Woodinville: On Aug. 27, around 8:40 p.m., a suspect broke into the victim’s apartment to locate his significant other inside. The suspect assaulted the victim/home owner. The victim pulled a gun on the suspect and told him to leave. The suspect left and called 911. The victim refused to assist with the prosecution process.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 24000 BLOCK BOTHELL EVERETT HWY, Bothell: On Aug. 24, at about 4:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a male subject throwing garbage cans onto SR 527 SE and ripping off tree branches. Several people called 911 to report the subject was holding up traffic and causing a hazard to the motorists. Initial efforts to communicate with the subject were met with negative results. Officers used time, distance, and shielding to de-escalate the situation. Once additional officers arrived, the subject was taken into custody without incident and remained docile and cooperative throughout the contact. The subject was booked into jail for disorderly conduct.
PLANNED THEFT – HOME DEPOT, Bothell: On Aug. 24, around 6:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a trespass in progress. Home Depot Loss Prevention called stating that a known, and previously trespassed thief, was loitering in their store with a basket full of high-priced merchandise. Officers arrived and arrested him for trespass and a DUI warrant. A short time later, officers responded back to Home Depot because the aforementioned thief’s ride was circling the lot and several associates of his were inside the store gathering items. They left without paying for power drills and were arrested. A female driving their car was contacted and she admitted to driving them to various places to unlawfully remove items from stores. All consented to a search and more than $880 worth of items from Fred Meyer were located. Everyone was booked into jail.
DUI COLLISION – 24000 BLOCK MERIDIAN AVE, Bothell: On Aug. 24, around 10:02 p.m., officers responded to an OnStar alert about a collision. The investigation revealed the suspect had been traveling north on Meridian and had failed to stop at the stop sign. At the same time, a female driver was turning left onto Meridian. The cars met in the middle of the intersection. The suspect’s car rolled twice and landed in the bushes and the other car had moderate damage. Only minor injuries were sustained. The suspect had a BAC of 0.206. He was booked into jail.
VEHICLE PROWL – 18800 BLOCK 101 PL NE, Bothell: On Aug. 25, at about 8:20 a.m., the reporting party’s vehicle was parked in the parking lot of her apartment complex. Sometime between the hours of 7:15 p.m. and 8 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered her vehicle, rummaged through it, and removed two pairs of prescription sunglasses. The reporting party stated that she may have left her back window down approximately 4 inches and believes that is how the suspect(s) made entry.
INTOXICATED DRIVER – 900 BLOCK 228 ST SE, Bothell: On Aug. 28, at 3 a.m., a reporting party called in three vehicles blocking an unknown injury traffic accident. Officers arrived and learned that one of the drivers stopping to help another disabled vehicle. A third vehicle then drove into the vehicle that stopped for the disabled vehicle. The driver of the disabled vehicle was determined to be extremely intoxicated. That driver was arrested for DUI. It appears the vehicle became disabled after the driver plowed into curbing. She then drove the vehicle on flat tires/rims until it lost traction and stopped going up the hill on 228th St SE. All three vehicles were towed.
UNDERAGE DUI – 22700 BLOCK 20 AVE SE: On Aug. 30, at about 2 a.m., a tow truck driver reported being called to a single vehicle traffic accident. He suspected the driver was impaired. Through an officer’s investigation, it was determined the under 21-year-old driver was impaired. He was arrested, processed and later released.
