COMMERCIAL ROBBERY

17400 140 AVE NE: On Aug. 3, at about 3:30 a.m., two unknown males broke into the McDonald's by smashing a glass door. The two suspects confronted an employee and demanded money. The suspects, armed with crowbars, stole cash and fled on foot. Police K-9 unit and deputies tracked the suspects to a parking lot in the 13800 block of NE 175 St where the trail ended. WPD detectives investigated but were not able to identify any suspects due to a lack of security footage or other leads.

ONLINE FRAUD

On Aug. 4, at about 3 p.m., deputies began investigating a fraud that occurred online over the past two weeks. The reporting witness was contacted about a job online through Indeed. The witness was wired about $70,000 in currency and asked to wire the money to two different subjects, and withdraw cash and place it into a BitCoin account. The witness determined the identity of the person sending money was false so they contacted police. Detectives worked with the witness’s bank and are actively investigating.

ASSAULT #1

14300 NE 185 CT: On Aug. 4, at about 6:45 p.m., deputies investigated a fight that occurred in a parking lot. Two adult males argued and fought, resulting in bumps and scrapes to both. The males chose not to explain to deputies what happened and they both declined to press charges against the other.

ASSAULT #2

18900 168 AVE NE: On Aug. 4, at about 11:30 p.m., deputies investigated a fight that occurred in the street. The reporting party said they were driving on NE Woodinville-Duvall Rd when they were randomly flipped off and yelled at by about five juveniles in another car. Both vehicles drove to 168 Ave NE where they stopped. The reporting party said he was pulled from his vehicle and punched by the juveniles, causing pain but no significant injury. The suspects fled before police arrived.

THEFT FROM AUTO

15600 126 AVE NE: Between 2 and 6 a.m. on Aug. 5, a purse and electronics were stolen out of a parked car. The suspect broke out the rear passenger window to steal the items.

ASSAULT #3

20100 137 AVE NE: On Aug. 5, at about 9 p.m., deputies investigated a domestic assault without injury. The involved parties separated before the police arrived. Case sent to the prosecutor's office for review.
