DOMESTIC ASSAULT

15300 NE 190 ST: On Sept. 9, at 8 a.m., deputies investigated a domestic assault involving an argument, name-calling, and one party slapping the other. Deputies arrested one adult who booked into the Kirkland Jail for Assault 4th Degree.

CREDIT CARD THEFT 

17100 125 PL NE: On Sept. 9, at 11 a.m., a resident was alerted to fraudulent activity on their credit card. The resident learned they had left their car unlocked overnight and several credit cards were stolen from the vehicle. Fraudulent transactions were made on the cards in Everett and Marysville. Detectives are assigned to investigate.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

19800 141 PL NE: On Sept. 9, at 7 a.m., a business discovered damage and theft to one of the work trucks. The catalytic converter had been cut off and removed. Detectives are investigating.

ALCOHOL THEFT 

17600 GARDEN WAY NE: On Sept.10, at 5 p.m., deputies investigated a shop-lift of seven bottles of alcohol. Store loss prevention had stopped a suspect and recovered the bottles. Deputies interviewed the suspect, who gave a false name but did confess to stealing. Using knowledge of arrest records and access to booking photos, deputies were able to determine the real identity of the suspect. The suspect was released and charges were forwarded to the prosecutor for Theft 3 and Making a False Statement.
