Two unidentified men broke into Mc Donald’s off of 140th avenue Northeast early Monday morning and made off with an undetermined amount of cash.
“Officers arrived at 3:44 a.m.,” Detective Rich Rowe with the King County Sheriff’s Office said. “Two males entered the store at around 3:34. There was one employee in the store at the time. The suspects did not display guns or knives but did have a crowbar with them. No one was injured during the incident."
One of the suspects restrained the employee while the other grabbed the cash. The two men left the scene on foot before police arrived.
“We think they had a car parked several blocks away,” Sgt. B.J. Myers with the Woodinville Police Department said. “A K-9 unit tracked them to an area near Molbak’s, but was unable to locate the suspects.”
Rowe said there were cameras on the premises, but the video hasn't been reviewed yet.
The WPD is handling the investigation.
