Laine - 050621

Paul Laine was born on August 30, 1959 and passed on April 4th, 2021 at 61 years. He spent his childhood in Woodinville, Washington.  He was committed to public service, working in both the cities of Issaquah and Shoreline, Washington for over 25 years.

Paul was a wonderful man with the best sense of humor and a master of bad puns. His family was given very short notice that his time was near. In fact, it was on April Fool’s Day, which would have given him a hearty laugh. He ended up passing on Easter day.Paul was an adventurous man, incredibly kind, thoughtful and empathetic, yet he had a spine made of pure steel. He elevated those around him, making each one of them a better person.

Paul’s love of his family was profound. He was a devoted, loving husband to the love of his life, Lisa and became the best thing that ever happened to his three sons, Andrew, Waylen and Edwin. He also leaves behind his mother Mary Ann Laine, sisters Diane Toms and Dayleen Krueger and nephews Ian and Ryan. He leaves behind many people, friends and family who he loved with his whole being and who loved him back just as much.

The world is a better place for his time here. His memory will be cherished by the people who’s lives he affected and we will mourn the loss of an incredible man, son, uncle and father. Thank you for loving us all these years and letting us love you in return. You will always be with us.
