Kathryn (Kate) Marlene Sutton: July 12, 1934 - July 15, 2020

Quin and Kate raised their family in Woodinville where they were active members of the community from 1958 to 1975. They moved to Tonasket, Wash., in 1975 where Kate worked as a nurse for 20 years at the local hospital. Quin and Kate restored old cars and spent time woodworking and traveling. Kate’s great loves were singing and reading.

After retiring they spent many years traveling until they settled in Moses Lake, Wash., where Quinion passed in 2010. Kate then spent time with each of her children settling in Montana with her granddaughter Toni Mintsiveris.

Kate will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffrey (Susan) Sutton of Everett, Wash., Marjory Sutton-Rechcygl (passed in 1989), Deborah Colbert of Kalispell Mont., Barbara (Douglas) Buch of Spokane, Wash., and Patrick (Beth) Sutton of Oroville, Wash., along with seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service July 28, 2020 at Purdy & Walters Funeral home at 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, Wash., where she will be laid to rest near her husband Quinion and daughter, Marjory.
