Gerald Lounsbury (May 1947—July 2022)

Jerry Lounsbury, lifelong resident of Woodinville, passed away peacefully on July 22, surrounded by love of family. He was born in Seattle on May 15, 1947, to Gerald B. & Sophia Loutsis Lounsbury and grew up on Cottage Lake in Woodinville. He graduated from Bothell High School in 1965 and Everett Community College. His lifelong career as carpet installer, and later owner of ABC Carpet Co., was a source of pride and satisfaction. He was an avid outdoorsman; fishing, hunting and camping were lifelong pursuits. He loved to cook, sharing his famous spaghetti with all and his summer BBQ parties and blender drinks were legendary. He leaves behind a circle of lifelong, close friends including Bill and Dick Smith, whom he loved as his brothers. He will be forever missed by his wife of 47 years, Lee; his daughter Megan Legg; his grandchildren Grace Legg, Dominic Legg, Libby Legg and great granddaughter Ainsleigh Legg, who were the sunshine of his life. A memorial celebration of life is being held at Loutsis Lake, 26821 Big Rock Rd, Duvall, on Aug. 20 at 2 p.m.
