John Straga (1936 - 2022)

John Straga was born in Coleman, Alberta, Canada to Louis Straga and Margaret Rajacich Straga. He became a proud United States citizen in October 1957. John worked hard all his life in insurance, cement finishing, logging and ended his career driving his dump truck until he was 77.He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Janet McGlenn Straga, his stepchildren Mark Thompson, Eric Thompson (Alison), Karin Nelson (Alan), Kris Kristoferson (Rich), his sister Jo Roth (Harry) and six children from his first marriage, Theresa Straga-Propst, Shane Straga (Jana), Shelley Korn (Ted), Kelley Stolzenburg (Brad), Jamie Hearn (Dan) & Dirk Straga (Michelle), 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.John loved spending time with his family, boating, camping, fishing, gold panning and hunting.John also loved his Copenhagen tobacco and a couple fingers of good scotch.CUT1.jpgCUT2.jpg
